(They naturally assume that once they lose the weight they'll feel so good that they'll just stick with it, but life usually has different plans.)
The Adaptive Program Design process is our system for personalizing and adapting the program to you. It's what we use with every one of our 1-on-1 clients and every member of our programs!
One of the most crucial distinctions with our process is that we look at your schedule, habits, dieting history and hormonal indicators BEFORE we define what your plan & program should look like.
THEN, once we get real world feedback in the form of your results and subjective indicators (hunger, energy, cravings, sleep, how sustainable it feels, willpower usage, etc.), we can adapt and adjust your plan to optimize for both results and sustainability!
As a result, the program we create fits YOU instead of trying to force-fit yourself into a cookie cutter plan designed for a 25 year old bodybuilder!
One of the biggest obstacles that most people face is the struggle to enjoy what they are doing for health and fitness enough to actually build up the motivation to get started and stay consistent with things.
As counter-intuitive as it seems to the conventional idea of dieting, enjoyment is CRUCIAL to long-term sustainability.
To build enjoyment, we begin with the 3-part formula below:
1. Leverage - What resources do you have available? Time, energy, money - How much do you have of each and how can you best utilize the resources you have to get the result you want as efficiently as possible?
2. Environment - Internal environment (mindset, thoughts, beliefs), social environment and physical environment can all be set-up for success with the right analysis, systems and intentional change.
3. Values - If your values don't match your healthy habits, you'll never stick with it. Getting clear on how your healthy habits impact the things that are most important to you (kids, spouse, career, etc.), ensures that rather than being an excuse not to do it, these areas of life become your primary drivers!
4. Enjoyment - Put simply if you don't enjoy it, you probably won't stick with it. The more enjoyable the plan, the more likely you are to be successful!
5. Logistics - What are the nuts and bolts of your schedule? Balancing health & fitness with the other important areas of your life requires logistical planning & organization of your schedule.
6. Strategy - To be successful it goes without saying that your strategy for workouts, nutrition and other habits must be effective at accomplishing the goal that you have.
No more bandaid quick fixes, instead we help you achieve real, lasting change.
